Frsky - Ethos

Connect the Head Tracker via Bluetooth

The Ethos radios already have integrated Bluetooth, in order to activate it we need to go to the settings -> wireless and then select as Bluetooth Mode "Trainer"

Now we need to enable Bluetooth on the Arduino board and select on wich channels we want to send the outputs, so go to the Bluetooth tab and select: "FrSky - Wireless Transmitter (Head)". Then go down in the : "IMU Output - Local Board" and select a channel for each movement that we want to send to the radio (remember that only the first 8 channels can be sent via Bluetooth).

Here we see the Bluetooth address of the Arduino board, mine is "F3:1F:4C:21:CB:14", now that we know it we can go back to the radio and connect the Head Tracker. We need to go in the trainer menu that is in the second model page, as shown in the pictures below.

Here we select : Trainer mode -> Master Wireless -> ON

for the mode we can use either High Speed or Normal Speed, I personally use High Speed ( if you don't see the speed setting it's because the firmware on the radio is outdated, I highly recommend to update it, you will find a lot of tutorials on the internet on how to update it)

Now by pressing "Search device" the addresses of nearby Bluetooth devices will appear, we have to select the address shown in the Bluetooth page of the head tracker gui

Now by scrolling down we need to set the "active condition" which determines when the trainer/Head tracker is working, we can choose Always On ( I recommend it for the first time to make sure that everything works correctly), a switch or other conditions

Now we should be able to see the channels (that we previusly selected) move
